Every day we ask the hardest questions we can and try to conceptualize, craft and create the best answers possible, together. Interns at Google play a big part in building these answers.
Our five-month Business Internship program is designed to provide students with real industry experience and an inside look at a business career at Google. The program includes on-the-job training, collaboration with Googlers, challenging and impactful work, and fun social events. You’ll develop the professional and analytical skills needed to succeed in the technology industry, and you’ll be able to make a lasting impact on your team and on Google. In addition to working with your team to build answers to interesting questions, you’ll also build a strong network and experience what life at Google is all about. At the end of the program, interns will have the opportunity to be considered for potential full-time employment.
The program runs from July 4, 2016 - November 25, 2016.
Business Internships are typically offered in the following business areas:
Sales and Account Management: Technology can transform the way companies interact with their customers, and our Sales Organization helps companies of all sizes to do just that. Sales Googlers apply their extensive knowledge of online media and leverage their relationships to help businesses grow. Teams of account managers, executives, strategists, coordinators and specialists specialize in different industries and regions to ensure that our ads reach the right users and that we’re giving our clients the best client service possible.
Product and Customer Support:Focus on the user and all else will follow. This is the mantra for all of Google, but especially for the Google gurus who make up our Product and Customer Support teams. Comprised of product experts and user champions, teams of account managers, strategists, coordinators and customer support specialists create the product solutions for businesses of all ages and sizes. These teams not only turn product innovations into client solutions, but they also collect user feedback and then share it with our Product, Marketing, Legal and Engineering teams. All in the name of improving user experience and fueling innovation.
Technical Solutions (gTech):Google's gTech organization is a technology group dedicated to developing and managing the company's largest and most strategic partnerships. This team creates solutions for organizations that not only represent outstanding business growth opportunities, but that are also strategically important for taking new, world-shaping technologies to market. The gTech team also serves as the primary point of contact supporting our sales organization across all products. We provide tools that allow our sales teams to generate business and partner with them in multi-solution selling.
