During your internship you will get the opportunity to gain professional experience in the commercial discipline of one of the world’s largest breweries. You will work in the customer service department of Africa Middle East and Central Asia Export at Heineken International in our office in Amsterdam. The customer service team is the link between the customer and the brewery and works closely with the commercial manager and (trade) marketing in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
We are looking for students, who are customer-oriented with ambition and drive to deliver the best results for our customers and our company. There is room for new ideas and initiatives which you, as an intern, can develop.
Taste the dynamics:
During your internship you will also get the opportunity to learn more about HEINEKEN International as a company, both inside and outside your department. Besides getting to know the company, you will meet other interns from various departments. Activities are organised for interns, such as a brewery tour.
You will work within the customer service department of Heineken International Africa Middle East and Central Asia Export. In this dynamic and international environment, you will support our team and will be involved in the day-to-day process. You will communicate with our customers, the brewery, finance and marketing department on a daily basis. You will have to deal with order flows for the international markets and will get a good idea about the commercial and logistic processes.
- A 3rd/4th year bachelor student
- You’re customer-oriented, solution-oriented, a team player and flexible.
- Good organising and planning skills and a high level attention for details.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven, motivated and eager to learn.
- A minimum of 4 days a week (5 days preferred) / and a duration of 5/6 months.
- Start date: Mid-January
- Office is based in Amsterdam
- You will be supervised during your internship by one of the coordinators
- You will receive an internship compensation
