Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?
The HR Lighting Eindhoven team is based in Eindhoven – High Tech Campus. You will be working in the HR team which consists of 4 HR managers and you will support the HR team in their daily work activities which are linked to the translation of the global HR agenda into local initiatives and projects. As a member of this HR team you will play a key role in supporting the Lighting Eindhoven department.
You will help to execute the HR policy for over 1300 employees. The internship consists of supporting the 4 HR managers in the above mentioned HR processes. In this dynamic and fast changing environment you will learn a lot and you will gain a lot of experience in the field of HR through active participation in the daily task of our HR managers.
The specific tasks will be on:
Evaluate output quality of yearly performance cycle;
Further support roll out of work place innovation concept and HR operating model;
You will also support on ad hoc HR tasks and projects and provide data and overviews of (background) information when needed.

The HR department is responsible for the local HR agenda of Lighting Eindhoven. HR supports the business transformation of Philips in becoming the market leader in lighting. This entails translating a global strategy into a local strategy. Change management, employee engagement, people performance management are important topics of the HR department.
This internship position will be a great opportunity for students to gain work experience in the field of HR. And by being part of this professional HR team, you will have the chance to see how HR processes are managed in a multinational company
This is a non-thesis assignment
Duration of the internship will be 6-12 months. We hope for availability of 4 or 5 days a week, but less can be discussed.
We prefer students able to start per March/April 2015
· Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
· A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
· A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
· The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:
Currently studying towards your Bachelor (HBO), (University) Bachelor in Sciences/Master in Sciences WO (Bsc./Msc.) with one or more qualifications:
o Human Resources
o Business Management
o Management Sciences
o Social Sciences
There is no specific work experience required.
In order to accomplish the HR tasks assigned to you, you need to have a sense of responsibility, deliver effort, be fluent in Dutch and a good grasp in English, be able to shift quickly between projects and subjects, and be assertive and determined.
