Become an active and valued member of the Digital Marketing and Privacy Lighting teams, helping to enable business and to manage Privacy issues for the global Philips Lighting oranization. Your responsibilities

The assignment is to lend support to the lead Lighting Digital Privacy Officer within Digital Marketing Lighting team. Main activities will include:

  • You will support the execution of Privacy Impact Assessments on Lighting initiatives in which personal data are processed, including mitigation plans, follow-up actions and risk reporting;
  • You will support the Lighting Digital Marketing team in order to speed-up initiatives and campaigns;
  • You will collaborate with Lighting Privacy Officer on Philips wide projects such a implementation of Binding Corporate Rules;
  • You will taking part in the definition and review of policies and procedures.

Your team

This Internship sits within the Digital Marketing and the Global Privacy teams of the Philips Lighting sector located at the HQ (Amsterdam and Eindhoven). You will work closely with colleagues in several functions and parts of the business and your key stakeholders will be

  • Digital Marketing colleagues from within Lighting sector
  • Privacy Teams from Lighting, Consumer Lifestyle, Healthcare and Group
  • Teams leading initiatives, within the whole Philips Lighting organization (BGs and Markets)

Internship conditions:

  • Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
  • A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
  • A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
  • The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
  • Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor HBO (BBA) / Bachelor of Science/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in:

- Communications
- Marketing
- Law

  • Must speak and write excellent English; Dutch would also be an advantage.
  • Interested in Privacy not only from a legal perspective, but mainly in the application of the privacy principles in a business environment.
  • ·Highly-organized, independent and not afraid to speak your mind, excellent attention to detail, communicative and creative.
