Background information

We are looking for an intern to provide support to the Marketing Excellence Manager in the coordination and implementation of the marketing skills capability program for Marketing in Europe. You are responsible for the project management, flawless execution and budget management of the courses. As you grow in your role you can give valuable feedback to your Marketing Excellence manager, the tutors and global cB4L learning team.

Responsibilities

As local organizer (LO) you are responsible for local implementation of the professional skills courses, e.g. Marketing Foundation, Global Project Leadership, Marketing Project Leadership, Building Digital Capabilities and Digital Acceleration Program online. Further you are responsible for ad hoc implementation of marketing learning events like Quarterly Marketing Forum and Crafting Brand for Life.

a. Project management – execution of courses (70%)
• Book venue and accommodation for courses (according to brief and budget): liaison with Meeting & Events;
• Securing participants and communicate course information and pre-work;
• Provide continual support to facilitators, speakers and participants;
• Liaise with course contributors, brief them and organize the required sessions;
• Preparation of course materials (printing, technical equipment etc.);
• Managing Chatter pages and conversations for all courses;
• On-site support at courses to ensure smooth execution by venue;
• Post-course registration on HR learning system (LMS);
• Gather and communicate feedback from venue, tutors and participants to cB4L team.

Accountabilities

Support the European Marketing Excellence Manager on the development and implementation of the (long term) European Marketing Learning Plan (MLP).

a. One Marketing Learning plan (5%)
• Liaison and alignment with HR Europe on Professional skills, General and Leadership;
• Development and maintenance of network of key contacts across marketing and HR community;
• Coordination of bottom up demand planning, across Europe (BB & BD) in close cooperation with HR;
• First point of contact for all Marketing Learning queries for Europe.
 
b. Long term planning for marketing courses (2.5%)
• Creation of European Marketing Learning Calendar;
• Liaison with global cB4L team for content, suppliers and dates.
 
c. European budget management (2.5%)
• Keep track of courses run in Europe (dates, costs, number of BB/BD marketers) on global MLP file for cB4L team.

Skills & Experience

• HBO/WO: Psychology, Economics, Leisure management or other related fields;
• Good Dutch and English written and verbal skills;
• Good knowledge of Ms Excel;
• Good organizational and planning skills;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work autonomously;
• Flexible;
• Administration skills;
• Available per half February or half March for 6 months fulltime (no gruadation internship).
