Every category at Unilever has its own finance support, global and regionally. Finance Laundry Europe is a team business partnering all key decisions in this region.
 
Finance Laundry activities include supporting all key decisions in the category such as budgeting, reviewing financial performance against the agreed business plans and innovations, financial accounting, providing financial input for all innovation projects, and leading profitability improvement programs. Hence, Finance Laundry plays a key role in realizing Unilever’s change agenda and objectives to double the size of the business.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• As an intern you can expect to be a full part of the Financial  team supporting in several Record to Report day-to-day activities (such as Hedge reporting, creating overviews and doing checks on the balance), for which you are expected to have an analytical and critical view on;
• You have to deliver reports to our international stakeholders and communicate this accordingly;
• You will also get involved in ongoing projects. You are able to support the team and have an active role in achieving set goals;
• It is expected that you have a critical view on the project set up, drive the progress and think what we want to achieve. Can this set-up be more efficient? What can we do better? Is there an alternative?  Those are your questions;
• In your 4-6 months internship you will get the chance to see how a Unilever Finance department operates in an international environment, including month end close, and how to manage a project towards a set goal.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years University; 
• Looking for an internship for work experience; 
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; 
• Good knowledge of the English language; 
• Strong analytical capabilities; 
• Strong communicator and team player; 
• Motivated, independent and goal oriented; 
• Available for 4-6 months full time (from asap).
