The application process for our September 2016 intake is still open, apply today!
Our programs are open to people graduating before September 2016, hold a Bachelor or Masters (or equivalent) degree from any discipline, and wish to work in: Belgium, France or Italy.
The program has a huge emphasis on field sales as we believe that it provides a great foundation for a career in sales and marketing – giving you the confidence, training and communication skills necessary to sell in anything from new products to great ideas.
That’s why, after an initial training session, you’ll spend the next 12 months focusing on either On-trade sales (selling to pubs, bars, clubs) or Off-trade sales (selling to supermarkets, corner shops, retailers), before switching to the other for the following year. This allows you to have a comprehensive training in both areas for a well-rounded education.
In both On-trade and Off-trade, you’ll be out in the field and frontlines of sales, finding new customers and getting to know them, negotiating deals with small and big business owners, looking for ways to grow volume, and really activating our brands. Think of yourself as the face of our brands, an ambassador who’s passionate about taking your products to the world.
In addition to your field work, you’ll have marketing and trade marketing projects to complete on the side – so you can apply what you’re learning. It’s an intense program that’s designed to challenge you to improve and innovate every day, but it also offers amazing training from our top people, and it’s designed to help you build the career you want.
At AB InBev, we believe that you should aim for your dream and make it yours. If you really impress us throughout this program, you’ll be offered your first managerial role.
Talented. Hungry. Ambitious. Entrepreneurial. You set trends rather than follow them. You’re innovative, creative, a doer as well as a dreamer, with a flair for communication and relationship building.
You’re a natural salesperson – you love being at the frontline of the business, connecting with customers and merchants, selling in new and established products to businesses small and large. You live for your brands and consumers. You’re passionate about maximizing the visibility of brands, developing your sales and customer portfolios, and you work hard to increase sales volumes and improve profitability every chance you get – by negotiating shelf space, offering relevant training, and working closely with external merchandisers.
You’ll also have the confidence and resilience to back your own decisions, take ownership of your projects from day one, and meet ambitious targets. And, as most of the job consists of selling in new products and connecting with customers, you’ll need to be fluent in English as well as the native language of the country you wish to work in too, in order to be eligible for this program.
